Terms and Conditions for AskTheDev

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the AskTheDev Chrome extension (the "Service", "Extension") operated by AskTheDev ("us", "we", or "our").

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the Extension.

1. Use of Service

AskTheDev is a paid Chrome extension that allows users to ask context-aware questions about the web page they are viewing.

Permitted Use:

• Educational purposes only
• Personal use only

Prohibited Use:

• Illegal or unauthorized activities
• Harmful, hateful, or violent behavior
• Commercial use or redistribution
• Reverse-engineering or tampering
• Scraping or unauthorized data collection

2. Subscription & Billing

• AskTheDev is paid-only and billed via Stripe
• Subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing cycle
• No refunds are issued after purchase

3. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and branding associated with AskTheDev are the intellectual property of AskTheDev. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Extension without our prior written consent.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskTheDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Extension.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
